    Happy, Happy Birthday TO ME! Today I turned 35 years old. Every year I look at February 1 as the real new year (January is just practice) and I guess that for me it is the new year. I am so excited about what 2015 has in store for me. I really want to write more but my eyelids are HEAVY! I must sleep now but trust practice is over! I will be blogging more 35!? WOW. Can't wait to share it with you guys.    

       So today one of my Facebook friends shared an article about loving someone you can never be with. It was an interesting read and made me think of a situation that I am in. Not a situation where I am necessarily in love with a person that I can never be with so much so as not even knowing if you and the other person can ever be together. What happens to love deferred? If you click with someone and there's not just the click but also a spark between the two of you but for one reason or another you NEVER even get to go out on a date what happens. I mean I guess in some situations you won't necessarily talk to the person again but in my situation I do still talk to the person. We have a decent enough friendship but a part of me wonders if we're really good friends or are we holding on to this in limbo relationship in hopes that one day our situations will change and we can give it a shot.      I kind of want to have him...

I was sorting through a box I found in the back of my closet and found this piece of paper that I'd written 10 things that make the PERFECT snuggly boo (BAE, boyfriend, boo, lovebug,etc.) It was apparently written a while ago but the things on my list remain the same. These are in no particular order.  Must have a belief system including morals and values that are compatible to mine . He can't worship the devil, he can't belong to a cult, he can't be so devoted to his religion that he despises me if I miss a Sunday (and trust me I will miss a Sunday or two....or three). As long as he knows that I'm a good person and I always try to choose right over wrong and I know the same about him...we're good. #TeamGoodGuys Must be cute (to me).  If you were to look at the guys I've dated/pined for you will see that they have few, if any, physical characteristics in common.      The word for the day is accountability. Say it with me people a-coun-ta-bi-li-ty…I need some of that in my life. Don't Get Caught Slippin' Okay so I met this guy, we’ll call him John – because that’s his name (no I’m not scared and yes I will put you out there)   Anyway John and I talked for a   few weeks, maybe a month; just texting after the initial exchange of numbers. So I've decided to online date. I use the term date very loosely because I've only been on three dates with people I've met online and both of those were over a year ago. Now, I get my fair share of  'say there shorties' from the fellas I meet in person but I do go many places too often. My life mostly consists of work, target and home.
