Intermittent Fasting....Let's GO!

So I've been hearing a lot about Intermittent fasting lately and I'm officially ready to give it a try.  Intermittent fasting is not a  diet , but rather a dieting pattern. ... By fasting and then feasting on purpose, intermittent fasting generally means that you consume your calories during a specific window of the day, and choose not to eat food for a larger window of time. I am diabetic so I am going to do 9 hours of eating and 15 hours of fasting. I will post often on my progress. I've created 2 documents to help me plan. While most people say you can eat "whatever you want" I am going to try to be mindful of what I eat and stick to one dessert per day. I can't quit cold turkey on the processed sugars because I'm an addict!!!! Wish me luck! Have any of you tried IF? Comment below. If you're interested in the files I'm using, email me and I'll send them to you. No need to recreate the wheel.  XOXO

Omnitrition Phase 2 Day 3

I'm down another 2 lbs. If I lose 1 more lb I'll be at a milestone that I'll share with you when it happens. I'm hoping to look up some recipes and spice up the VLCD (Very Low Calorie Diet) this weekend. If I come across something delicious I'll be sure to share it here. I can control myself at work for the most part even though there's temptation all over the place here. The real victory will be if I manage this weekend. Oh  and my Nite Lite (Omnitrition Nighttime formula) which supposedly helps you rest better and causes you to lose lbs while you sleep came in along with my Omnitrition Hair & Nails. I'm excited to add these to my routine this weekend. I do not believe that I will have to use ALL of the Omni products to lose weight. I will probably try them all because I'm a distributor and I would like to know the products I sell but I'm not in it for the extra cash. If it comes it comes. More importantly I need a jump start. I need to ...

Omnitrition: Phase 2 Day 1

Even though I ate....a lot....a little part of me feels like I didn't load properly because I would still get hungry in between pig outs. But because I feel sick and I've already gained 5 pounds I'm going ahead and starting Phase 2 or P2 (a very low calorie diet) today. In P2, what you can eat is very limited and the meal plan is 500 calories a day. I personally feel like that is waaaaay too few calories and I've been researching ways around that. What I've found is that you can actually do 800 calories a day and still lose weight. It won't be as dramatic as the 500 calorie a day diet but still. So I have the 800 calorie plan in my back pocket just in case. I'm hoping to drop that gained 5 pounds in the first week. P2 lasts for 21 days/ 3 weeks. The meals on this plan are very simple. Last night I prepared 4 very unexciting meals of 4 oz of chicken breast and 4 oz of spinach for both lunch and dinner today and tomorrow. Today I also brought and orange ...

Omnitrtion: Loading

So I'm trying a new weight loss plan. I can admit that it seems a little gimmicky but I've personally with my for reals eyes seen the results of Omnitrtion. It doesn't cost as much as some other plans I've tried so I decided to give it a try. The way the plan is set up you do rounds or cycles. They are 47 days long and are broken down so that the first 2 days you do what is called Phase 1 or P1 (loading). You get to eat whaterver you want and you are encouraged to stuff yourself. That's what I've done the last two days and I literally made myselfe sick. AND I GAINED 5 POUNDS!!!!!!While loading I you're suppose to drink 1/2 to 1 gallon of water a day ( I drank about 80 oz) and take the Omnidrops/Liquid Vitamins 4 times a day. I'm optimistic about this program. The people who introduced it to me really believe in the product and their results made me an offer I couldn't refuse. My next post is about Phase 2.
