2 New Weight Loss Tips

So, I recently started using to new nutrient based things to help me in my weight loss journey. I haven't really been taking them long enough to give you guys any final results but I would like to go ahead and let you know what they are and how I fell about them so far. I've been taking them for a week now.

The first is Gymnema Sylvestre and it is a natural herb that helps regulate blood sugar and curbs your cravings for sugar. Now, I am a sugar addict! I mean if I had my way I'd have a pastry (or 2) for breakfast, something sweet for lunch and something sweet with dinner not to mention juices and sugar based snacks throughout the day. I mean I've got it bad.

Now I'm starting to think the Gymnema Sylvestre is working because I purchased a bundtlet from Nothing Bundt Cakes Tuesday and it is DELICIOUS...but I've only managed to eat a third of it. I've had it for 2 days already. NO WAY IN HELL is this normal for me! So I think this one is working.

You can purchase them and GNC and Whole Foods but I got them from Amazon.com because they were much cheaper. I take 2 a day one right before lunch and one right before dinner. It is suggested that you take them twice a day before your 2 biggest meals.

Although I'm a diabetic, I don't check my blood sugar levels the way I should and I HATE Metformin so I also don't take it the way I should. Please don't judge me, I already know how irresponsible that is which is why I'm looking for alternative ways to control my blood sugar levels. I will start checking my levels again Sunday.

I am not a medical professional so please don't change your routine because of what I'm doing. I'm just sharing MY journey with you.

The second supplement that I've begin taking is Trace Mineral Concetrate. The idea behind this is that it provides a healthy dose of the minerals your body needs to stop us from mindlessly snacking in search of getting them.

I haven't been as snackish but I can't really say rather this one is 'working' or not. I'll keep you guys up to date. I purchased this from Amazon also. .

I really hope to lose 25 pounds before the 2017. Wish me luck!

Please see the links on my blog page to purchase.

Hey y'all!    I was finally able to get my grubby little paws on more Michaels Craft Store Grab Boxes. It was completely by accident, I simply wanted to buy a t-shirt to complete an order and I saw 4 boxes so I purchased 4 boxes. Here's what was inside: Most of this will get used. I was most excited about the floral department stuff and the lights. The total for my boxes is over $400. Anything I can't use, I'll be donating to my job!

BOOK REVIEW: "I Almost Forgot About You" by Terry McMillan

While I'm not a Terry McMillan fanatic, I do usually enjoy her books. This title was hard to read and confusing from the very beginning. I understand that Georgia is on a mission to find herself but the books is long and gets boring often. Plus there are way too many characters to keep up with. I will still pick up a Terry McMillan book in the future but I do not recommend this book.

No Losers Please

Just recently, I dated a loser, I can tell you more about that in a later blog post I have planned. But anyway - one day I was chilling with said loser and he needed me to help him set up his 'new' touch screen phone. While I was trying to log into his Facebook page he received a text from another girl that read "Hey sweaty - what's up" It's funny because I wasn't mad and because I am pretty sure that this wasn't a case of auto-correct madness. This heifer really spelled SWEETIE wrong and I saw the previous texts to prove this. Unless there was some sort of inside joke that made it okay for her to affectionately call him sweaty, the fact that he was either a. oblivious to the fact that she wasn't spelling her chosen term of endearment correctly or b. He wasn't offended about being called sweaty. Either way - I realized he was an idiot. Have you ever been involved in a situation or with a person and had an awakening that made you realize...
