Lance Gross reminds me of that one boy from the neighborhood or Junior High school that may have been a little dusty and/or unnoticeable back in the day but one day you run into him and you’re like “DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN! You can get IT.” He’s extra, extra cute. And he’s dark. I loves me a dark, man with a high ash possibility. Wale is the shit! IMO, lyrically there aren’t very many MCs that can touch him on that intellectual level. And when he spits that poetry; SWEET GEORGIA PEACHES! He seems like the type of guy you spend hours having an intellectual debate with which is so sexy. He’s fine to me because even without the money and fame he still would be swaggalicious. Okay? Okay! Plus his album Ambition is the shit.

What I Like About Him:
Trigga is all kinds of adorable. He’s like your best friend’s little cousin. I used to not like Trey Songz music because he changes voices too much in his songs. He doesn’t do it much anymore but even when he does, I allow it simply because he cut them braids off. I didn’t like the braids. And I told him I was “Listen boo, if you want us to keep doing what we do you gonna have to let the braids go.” And well – ahem- you see him. By the by, if you haven’t copped Chapter V, please do yourself a favor and be about that Trey Songz life.

President Barack Obama

Where You May Know Him From:
What I Like About Him:
What sane person can’t look at this dude and tell that he’s cool af? He’s intelligent and I think the most attractive thing about him is the way you can tell that he loves his wife and daughters. So, I would never disrespect Michelle but she know what she got. The man is all that and a family size bag of Flaming Hot Onion Rings. He’s (so you know it’s official)!

What I Like About Him:
Listen, this man is finner than fine okay. He’s like a little pocket size slice of caramel colored heaven! I would cook, clean, put money on his books, produce albums, sells copies of ATL on the highway, mow grass, rebuild engines, manage Akoo sweat shops in Guatemala – WHATEVER it took.  He’s obviously a hot head but he’s the MF’n KANG so what do you expect. He’s well spoken, articulate, intelligent, seemingly a good father and even a good boyfriend/husband (no comment on his situation aka Tiny) and he has a great sense of humor. He’s sexy in street clothes and suits. I swear if I ever met him I’m going to lose it and if nobody’s watching I’m going put his little ass in my purse and bounce. I’ve been down with the T.I. since the release of I’m Serious before some of y’all was really down with him like that. I remember when I went to seem perform in a club – I broke in line and flirted with a security guard to make sure I got in. I LOVE HIM sweet Jesus!
In the words of David Champion from a post written at:

BOOK REVIEW: "I Almost Forgot About You" by Terry McMillan

While I'm not a Terry McMillan fanatic, I do usually enjoy her books. This title was hard to read and confusing from the very beginning. I understand that Georgia is on a mission to find herself but the books is long and gets boring often. Plus there are way too many characters to keep up with. I will still pick up a Terry McMillan book in the future but I do not recommend this book.

BOOK REVIEW: Habit Changers by M.J. Ryan

I really enjoyed reading this book. Habit changing is one of things I've focused on in my 30s as I try to make changes in my life that will make me a better person. This book makes habit changing actually seem doable. I have learned how to reach my goals by breaking things down and doing it in a way that makes it easier and more likely for me to accomplish. I recommend this book to anyone looking to make positive changes in their life.

Here's two links to purchase the book.

Do you have any tips for effectively changing habits?

Random Thoughts: Social Media Lies

Here are three random thoughts that are loosely related:
Lying on social media should be considered a crime. You're on here making folks feel inferior; wishing their lives were as 'exciting' as yours when what you're presenting is only part of the story and sometimes it's just the part you made up. Some one recently commented on one of my photos "who does your hair because it looks good one every photo" Now, is my hair ALWAYS done? Hell nawl...but I aint taking and posting pictures when it's not. One of my recent boyfriend is all over social media with his new girlfriend. If I think about it long enough my feelings are a little hurt because one of the main things we constantly bumped heads about was social media...him flirting with other girls, we weren't friends on FB and I can't remember him EVER mentioning me or our relationship on social media. But here's the thing, despite him publicly showing how in love he is with this girl he is …
